Howlite has such a peaceful energy, it softens the rough edges, helping you to take what challenges come with grace and ease, unfazed and composed. It helps bring you into a slower rhythm where you can easily move into a meditative state, calming the mind and the body into a place of stillness and rest. I love this mala as a basic for everyday wear, when you are wanting to remain in a bubble of pure white energy where you can reflect with loving patience anything that tries to disturb your sense of peace. And it is a perfect companion for meditation, helping you to settle in yor body and mind.
HOWLITE (white with black veining)
A calming and soothing stone, great for softening anger and absorbing negativity. It promotes insight and intuition, assisting in journeys and out-of-body transcendence and accessing past lives. It helps to release troublesome emotions being triggered from past life trauma. Helps to formulate ambitions and aids in achieving them. It stills the mind, helps in meditation and sleep. A great stone for insomnia. It calms, soothes and eases an overactive mind.
RUDRAKSHA (seed beads with ‘faces’ typically 5 faced)
Pronounced “Rud-ruck-sha”, the name stems from Hindu mythology and means “the eyes of Shiva.” It’s believed that Shiva meditated on the welfare of mankind and emerged crying tears of compassion. The tears, upon hitting the Earth, crystallised to form the trees that grow rudrakshas. Medicinally, they are known to heal the mind and body ailments, reduce heart disease and lower blood pressure. They are also believed to increase clarity and general awareness, calm the central nervous system, help quiet the mind, and free negative thought. In addition, they are said to be cooling when worn against the skin, and increase energy and stamina while providing rejuvenating qualities.
Howlite and Rudraksha - for stillness and peace
Each mala is cleansed, activated and dedicated in ritual to its keeper. It comes boxed, in a white gift box with a cotton linen drawstring bag for safe storage. Information cards are also provided. Unboxing a mala is a ceremony in itself!
